Chantix

Chantix, which is otherwise known as Varenicline, is prescription drug used in the assistance of patients stopping smoking. The drug, which has had a public and storied history, has been proven to increase chances of a patient abstaining from smoking for long periods of time, however, some alarming side-effects have been noted. Aside from temporary side-effects of nausea and other discomforts, the drug has been proven to increase the risk of suicide in patients and cause suicidal ideation in patients. Chantix has also been linked to a disproportionate number of violent actions or aggressive criminal actions taken by patients while on the medication.
