Evista is another drug solutions for the devastating side effects of menopause is women.  While there are a number of troubling consequences of menopause, such as hot flashes, memory loss, sleeplessness, and mood swings, there are certainly some other concerns that are much more troubling.

  • Hot flashes
  • Pain, swelling, or warmth of the hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs, along with leg cramps
  • Sudden chest pain or chest heaviness
  • Coughing up blood or difficulty breathing
  • Changes in vision (loss or blurring) that occur suddenly

Evista Claims and Lawsuits

To date, there have been few large lawsuits decided against Evista, and no class action suits appear to be filed or certified.  However, every woman who has taken the drug should consider the side effects mentioned in connection with Evista and, if appropriate, consult with their physician to determine if there are any concerns in their health.  With any fairly new drug, the patient’s reactions need to be monitored carefully and regularly.  These threats can be serious if not attended to swiftly and thoroughly.
