Reglan

The prescription medication Reglan has been linked to numerous cases of detrimental side-effects in patients that pose permanent or potentially lethal risks to users of the drug. Reglan is available in various forms, including tablets, orally dissolving tablets, injections, and an oral solution, which were all intended to deliver Reglan in order to treat existing gastrointestinal problems in patients, as well acid reflux and morning sickness. In early 2009, the FDA noted that Reglan posed significant risks to patients taking the drug for long periods of time, which is shown to cause tardive dyskinesia. Tardive dyskinesia is a notable disorder characterized by uncontrolled facial grimacing, spatial movements, lips, jaw, and tongue. These symptoms are irreversible in almost all cases of tardive dyskinesia stemming from Reglan use.
