Mirapex effects the symptoms of Restless Leg Syndrome and Parkinson's disease. However, there are also negative side effects with this medication. For instance, the elderly are more susceptible to Mirapex. It is easy to fall asleep right in the middle of a conversation. Compulsive behavior can also be a big problem with patients. For example, loved ones have reported hyper sexuality, compulsive gambling, and even out of control eating. Thankfully, these symptoms will subside, if the patient is taken off of the medication.
