Liability Strict

If you are a drug manufacturer, you need to be very concerned about liability. Strict laws apply. If you ignore them, you could lose your proverbial shirt and end up paying big damages for wrongful injury, or even death. Because drug companies, in the past, failed to disclose risks associated with their medications, laws have been put in place to protect the consumer. You need to understand these laws, so you can do whatever is necessary to protect your product. If your label and press release is forthcoming with all known side effects, no matter how big or small, you will protect yourself against future lawsuits. If the consumer has been made aware of the potential dangers associated with your product, and chooses to take it anyway, you are no longer liable for any negative consequences.
