Diclofenac

Diclofenac, which is otherwise known as Voltaren, is a drug prescribed to patients suffering from inflammation. The drug is used as an anti-inflammatory, as well as a method of reducing pain from the inflammation suffered by patients. In some studies, the drug has shown a higher than normal propensity to cause potentially fatal heart and other cardiopulmonary issues, such as strokes or heart attacks. Suits have been filed against the makers of Diclofenac for increase risk of heart attacks and other complications related to taking the drug, especially by patients with pre-known heart and circulatory conditions that have taken the drug over an extended period of time.
