Aredia

Aredia is basically a cancer drug. It is used to treat excess calcium in the blood, which can be a symptom of certain types of cancer. It is also used to slow down the spread of cancer, once it has reached the bones. Aredia is also prescribed for Paget's disease. The illness replaces good bones with weak ones that will break easily. Unfortunately, patients who take Aredia may develop osteonecrosis. It is a disease of the jawbone, where it can break and crumble. Therefore, it is important to go to the dentist before starting the treatment, and avoid any dental procedures, until the treatments end. Aredia is an intravenous drug, so you will have to go to the doctor's office or hospital for treatment.
